Puppy Exploration - This class does not teach specific skills like “sit” and “down” but rather teaches puppies to explore their world. They will interact with many things! Things that move and things that make sounds. Things for climbing over, under and through. The basis for most issues with adult dogs is lack of confidence. In this class, puppies will gain confidence through play and shaping. Please note there is no playtime. This is not a class for socializing with other puppies.
Age Requirement: 6-15 months
Pre-requisites: None
Session is 4 weeks, cost is $100
Offered: Thursdays, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Foundation for Agility - Through games, you and your dog will learn to work as a team. You will learn handling skills related to running agility on the flat. Basic agility equipment and 2x2 weaves are introduced as appropriate for the dog’s age and structural maturity.
If you and/or your dog have no experience with agility, begin with this class!
Age Requirement: at least 12 months
Pre-requisites: highly recommend completing Puppy Exploration first if age-appropriate for your dog
Session is 6 weeks, cost is $120
Offered: Thursdays, 7:15 PM - 8:15 PM
Agility - Beginner 1 - This class teaches the dog to successfully navigate all agility obstacles. Contact obstacles are at a lower height. Continue work on 2x2 weaves. Dogs graduate from this class when they perform all obstacles with confidence, including 6 weaves straight-up.
Age Requirement: at least 16 months
Pre-requisites: completion of the Foundation for Agility class or approval of instructor. Dog must be comfortable on leash in the presence of other dogs while practicing skills.

Offered: Mondays, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Agility - Beginner 2- This class will aid both dogs and handlers in developing the skills necessary to run a Novice agility course. Contacts are at full height. Continue working on obstacle mastery and confidence. Begin running short sequences, growing into longer sequences.
Age Requirement: at least 16 months
Pre-requisites: completion Agility - Beginner 1 class or approval of instructor. Dog must have a solid recall to handler.

Master-Level Agility Courses - Two master-level courses are provided. Each team runs each course two times. This provides the opportunity to try different handling techniques or focus on specific skills as desired.
Age Requirement: at least 16 months
Pre-requisites: completion Agility - Competing (or capable of competing) at the Excellent/Master Level (or equivalent) or approval of instructor.
