Front Cross Workshop (06/25/2026) and Rear Cross Workshop (07/02/2026)

A cross is a handling technique that switches your dog from one side of your body to the other while maintaining speed and control through the obstacles.

Each of these two workshops focus on one of the two foundational crosses in agility: the front cross and the rear cross.

Topics include What the cross is and how it works; when to use the cross; why the cross matters for timing, flow, and control; how to execute the cross clearly and effectively and more

Setting Lines Workshop (07/16/2026)

In agility, a line is the smooth, predictable path your dog takes through the course. It is not the handler’s path, and it is not always the shortest route. A well-set line helps your dog move confidently from obstacle to obstacle with fewer hesitations, refusals, or awkward approaches.

Topics include How to recognize and evaluate your dog’s line; why line setting matters for flow, efficiency, and accuracy; how to choose and set the best line for your dog and more.

Start line Stays Workshop (07/23/2026)

This workshop focuses on start line stays—having your dog hold a designated position, such as a sit or down, at the beginning of an agility course until released.

Topics include the advantages and drawbacks of using start line stays; When a start line stay is appropriate—and when it may not be; alternative ways to begin a run; how to teach and build a reliable start line stay and more
